Rico Pryor and Tatum Sparks have been named the Strength and Conditioning Athletes of the Month.
Pryor, a native of Long Beach, California, is a member of the men's track and field teams. The freshman came from Milliken High School, where he competed as a two-sport athlete in both track and field and football as a Ram. Pryor secured the Moore League Championship in discus as a sophomore, before securing the shot put and discus championship titles his senior season. He also won at a junior Olympic regional meet to become a USA Track and Field Junior Olympian as a junior.Â

Will Seevers said.Â
Sparks is a redshirt senior for the women's wrestling team. She transferred from Southwestern Oregon Commmunity College, where she was a 2X All-American.
"Not only does Tatum lead by example everyday with her work ethic, but she also holds her teammates accountable by assisting them when needed," strength and conditioning coach
Regan Quaal said.
The Strength and Conditioning Athletes of the Month is awarded by the strength and conditioning staff to an athlete who embodies the three core values of the the Argo Strength and Conditioning Philosophy: strength of discipline, strength of spirit and strength of unity.Â
