MISSOULA, Mont. – The University of Providence outdoor track and field teams competed at Griz Open throughout the weekend.

The Argos had a few highlights in senior Avari Batt and sophomore Lauren Cima who placed first defeating all Frontier Conference and University of Montana Athletes.
 
Batt threw a distance of 44.41m in the discus and Cima threw a distance of 52.41m in the hammer throw for a pair of first-place finishes.
 
The Argos also saw sophomore Havyn Vandenacre hit an A Standard in the Javelin for her second time this season and Cima hit an A Standard in the shot put for her third time this season.

The Argos will be back in action on May 2-3 when they head to Dickinson, N.D. for the Frontier Conference Championships.
