GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence outdoor track and field program heads to Dickinson, N.D. for the Frontier Conference Championships on May 2-3.

The Argos had two athletes place first at the Griz Open in senior
Avari Batt in the discus and sophomore
Lauren Cima in the Hammer Throw. UP also saw sophomore
Havyn Vandenacre hit her second A Standard of the year in the Javelin.
Conference Standings
The Argos have 10 athletes who are in the top 10 in their respective events in sophomore
Savannah Ivins at ninth in the 3000M Steeplechase, sophomore
Ella Zacarias is sixth in the High Jump, freshman
Jocelyn Covington is seventh in the Pole Vault, sophomore
Lauren Cima is leading the conference in the Hammer Throw, fourth in the Shot Put, and eighth in the Discus, freshman
Grace Finkle is fourth in the Discus, sophomore
Havyn Vandenacre is second in the Javelin, freshman
Kyler Harris is sixth in the 5000M, junior
Zoran LaFrombois is third in the 3000M Steeplechase and tenth in the 5000M, junior
Logan Nicholson is third in the High jump, and freshman
Aiden Avalos is fifth in the Discus.
Frontier Conference Championships
The Frontier Conference Championships begins at 8:00 a.m. (MST) on Saturday, May 2 with the 10000M and will finish with the 400M at 3:50 p.m. (MST), and will begin at 9:00 a.m. (MST) on Sunday, May 3 with the Triple Jump and will finish with the 4x400 Relay at 4:00 p.m. (MST).
