DICKINSON, N.D. – The University of Providence outdoor track and field teams competed at Frontier Conference Championships throughout the weekend.
The highlight for the Argos was sophomore
Lauren Cima who won her second straight Frontier Conference Championship in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 55.37m. Cima currently sits at the #2 throw in the NAIA heading into the National Championships in the Hammer Throw.
The Argos also saw junior
Zoran LaFrombois place 2
nd in the 3000M Steeplechase with a time of 9:43.07.
UP had five others reach the podium for the Argos with freshman
Kyler Harris and
Grace Finkle placing fourth in the 5000M and the Discus, respectively. Sophomore
Tristan Lewandowski placed sixth in the 110 Hurdles and sophomore
Havyn Vandenacre placed sixth in the Javelin.
The Argos will be back in action on May 20-22 when they head to Asheville, N.C. for the NAIA National Championships.
