GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Four Argos won the tournaments in their weight class in a folkstyle tournament on day two of the Battle of the Rockies.

John Hensley (197) all won their individual weight classes. Seven more Argos placed in the top 6; Boone Giulio (157) placed 2

Gage Bentley (165) finished 3
rd,
Hayden Schrull (183) placed third,
Clayton Gilliam (133) finished 5
th,
Gavin Gies (141) finished 6
th,
Josh Pepos (149) took 6
th, and
Alex Quick (174) also finished 6
th.
Shonn Roberts took down Salvador Silvan from North Idaho College. He started down 4-2, but came back to win by major decision 17-4.
"I had a tough match at the end," Roberts said. "I got shocked at the beginning. I just kept wrestling. I trust in my coaches and my training. It was good for me to get taken down right away and fight a little bit of adversity."
Though he's proud of the win, Roberts has his eyes on a much bigger prize.
"I can't wait for the bigger stuff," he said. "It isn't just the goal to win the Battle of the Rockies, but it's a stepping stone. Every day has a purpose. This is another step forward."
The Argos will hit the mats again for the GPAC duals on December 15 in Prescott, Arizona.
