Argo Men's Basketball Earns No. 5 Seed and Heads North to Havre

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The 2018-19 Frontier Conference (FC) Men's Basketball Playoff field is set and the University of Providence men's basketball team (18-11, 9-9 FC) earned the No. 5 seed overall.
 
The Argos will travel to play our neighbors the MSU-Northern Lights, on Wednesday February 27 during the opening round of the playoffs. The Argos split with the Lights 1-2 this season, splitting at home 1-1, before falling to them on the road in their final matchup of the season.
 
The FC Tournament will feature all seven conference programs. Quarterfinals will be hosted by the two, three, and four-seeds, on Wednesday, February 27 while the No. 1-seeded Carroll College Saints have a bye. Semifinals on Saturday, March 2 will be hosted by No. 1 Carroll College and the highest remaining seed following quarterfinal action, followed by the championship on Tuesday, March 5 hosted by the highest seed of the two championship contenders.
