Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont. – A strong second half effort from the #13^th University of Providence men's basketball team propelled the Argos to a 80-63 win over Rocky Mountain College Sunday afternoon.

The Battlin' Bears (1-5, 1-5) made several adjustments after their loss last night and flustered the Argos defensively, forcing ten first-half turnovers. Rashee Stocks hit a deep-three at the halftime buzzer to give the Argos their first lead of the game, 35-34.

"They came out with more intensity," head coach Steve Keller said. "We missed five layups and had ten turnovers. We kind of shot ourselves in the foot. We were very lucky to even be ahead at halftime. But their defense was pretty good."

The Argos came out with a different intensity in the second-half. Led by stout defense, aggressive rebounding and solid ball movement, the Argos raced out to a ten-point lead and never looked back.

Zaccheus Darko-Kelly led the way with 21 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and four steals. Jaxen Hashley contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds while Dawson Fowler added 15 points and six rebounds. As a team the Argos outrebounded the Bears 47-35 and forced a total of 16 turnovers.

The Battlin' Bears were led by Darius Henderson, who added 18 points, three rebounds and three assists. Nick Hart chipped in 16 points and six boards.

The Argos have a short turnaround as they play Montana State-Northern in Havre, Mont. on Jan. 20.

"They're always tough up there," Keller said. "We're going to have to try and get some rest and be ready to go up there."
