GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team will get back on the court Wednesday night after their games against Rocky Mountain

The Argos are (2-2, 2-2) are looking to build off their first week of competition, in which the squad split games with both Montana Tech and #6 Carroll. Due to the games against Rocky being canceled last week, the Argos held an intra-squad scrimmage on Friday to simulate a game-like environment.
"We're really focused on being able to sure up our offensive stuff and make our offense a little bit better," head coach
Bill Himmelberg said. "We worked on some rebounding and some defensive stuff. It was great to be able to get in the gym and get some practice in."
The Argos, who are currently
receiving votes in the latest NAIA National Poll, are getting some recognition around the league. Currently,
Parker Esary and
Emilee Maldonado lead the conference in scoring at 19.3 and 17.0 points per game, respectively. Esary is currently third in the nation in field goal percentage at 71.1% Kersytn Pimperton is currently 7
