Corvallis, Ore. – Five men's wrestlers from the University of Providence were named to the U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference team by the Cascade Collegiate Conference on Tuesday.
 
Christian Balagso (business administration), Justin Gibson (chemistry), Boone Giulio (criminal justice), Colton Hillyard (biology) and Josh Pepos (biology) all received the achievement.
 
"These five kids are great," head coach Steve Komac said. "It's great that we have some kids that understand both sides of the student-athlete experience. They all understand that we're going to put as much time into academics as we are in the wrestling room."

To qualify for the recognition, a student-athlete must have minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and have at least a sophomore standing.
 
The Argos will travel to Havre, Mont. Thursday evening to take on Montana-State Northern in a CCC dual.
