WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference
announced Monday evening that the conference will uphold the
No Spectator Policy for the remainder of the basketball season. The decision will include the postseason tournament, which will begin on Thursday, Feb. 25 and conclude with the men's championship on March 2.
The volleyball season will also continue to adhere to the No Spectator Policy. The conference will continue to review the policy as the season progresses.
"The Frontier Conference wishes to thank everyone for their understanding and support of our teams, coaches and student-athletes during these times," Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson said. "We know this pandemic hasn't been easy for anyone but please know that as a conference we are trying our very best to provide the student-athletes the safest and best experience possible."
All postseason basketball games will be played at the higher seeded team's gym. The top two-ranked teams will receive a first-round bye ,while the 3 seed will play the 6 seed and the 4 seed will play the 5 seed. After the opening round, the playoffs will be reseeded, with the 1 seed playing the lowest ranked team and the 2 seed playing the highest ranked team.
