HELENA, Mont. – After going 2-0 at the Holiday Inn Classic with victories over Corban University and the University of Jamestown, senior
Davien Harris-Williams has been named the Erk Hotels Frontier Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Harris-Williams is from Tacoma, Wash. and averaged 22pts, 6.5ast, 4.5reb on the weekend. In the second half and overtime against Corban, Harris-Williams had 18pts and 3ast while hitting two huge threes with under four minutes remaining to bring the game within striking distance down the stretch.
This is Harris-Williams third player of the week award in his career, taking it home twice in January last season. Head coach
J.C. Isakson on Harris-Wiliams performance stated, "Davien's performance this weekend is a reflection of the growth he has had this past off-season. He scored for us, but he also got his teammates involved, rebounded, defended, and made several plays that don't show up on the stat sheet."
