GREAT FALLS, Mont. – After defeating the #14 ranked wrestler to secure the dual win over Eastern Oregon, redshirt junior Caleb Werner has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week.  

Werner is from Tillamook, Ore. and moved up a weight class to defeat #14 Jay Smith 4-3 in the dual securing match on Thursday. Head coach Steve Komac on Werner's performance stated, "Caleb is a work horse in our room, and he is willing to do anything we need at any time. He just loves to compete and jumped at the opportunity to move up and help us out at 197."

Werner is the second Argo to win wrestler of the week this season after Aden Graves took home the award last week. He is the seventh Argo in the last three seasons to be named player of the week joining Graves, Joel Avila, Hayden Schrull, Payton Hume, and redshirt seniors KC Buday and Jordan Komac.
