GREAT FALLS, Mont. - University of Providence junior McKenzie Clark was named the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week after winning the javelin at the Montana Open that was held in Missoula.
Clark, (Carter, Mont.) tossed a school record throw of 43.95m to defeat a field of 21 at the event. The competition included athletes from NCAA Division I, Division II and NAIA schools. She also surpassed the NAIA "A" Standard for next month's national meet.
