Argos Head to North Carolina for NAIA National Championships

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence track and field teams travel to Asheville, N.C. for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on May 20-22 at the Karl Straus Track.

Last Time Out
The Argos had one athlete in sophomore Lauren Cima who was crowned champion at the Frontier Conference Championships placing first in the Hammer Throw.

NAIA Championships
The Argos have five athletes who qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in seniors Shelbey Klein, Avari Batt, sophomores Lauren Cima, Havyn Vandenacre and freshman Grace Finkle. Cima, Vandenacre, and Klein are making their second appearances at the NAIA National Championships and Finkle and Batt are making their debuts on the national stage. Cima and Klein are looking to repeat their success they had at the 2025 championships where Cima earned All-American in the Shot Put and Klein earned All-American in the Javelin.
