CORVALLIS, Ore. – After scoring four goals versus Multnomah University last Friday, freshman Jose Vasquez has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Rize Laboratory Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Vasquez is a forward from Acarigua, Venezuela and scored all four of the Argos goals in their 4-1 victory on Friday. His four goals against Multnomah University are also tied for the second most goals in a single game in Argo soccer history.

Vasquez is the first Argo to win offensive player of the week since 2017 when George Holloway and Christoffer Bisbo both took home the award. He is the third player in Argo history to be named offensive player of the week.

Head coach Will Hander on Vasquez's performance stated, "Jose was brilliant versus Multnomah last week. He has been playing very well and it is always exciting to see someone tie a school record. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him."
