Argos Move Up to #13 In NAIA Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Providence women's volleyball program moved up two spots to #13 in the latest NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches Ratings on Wednesday.
 
The Argos were ranked #15 in previous poll and have since picked up victories over #13 Montana Western, RV Rocky Mountain College, and MSU-Northern. This is the highest rankings for the Argos since they were ranked #5 at the end of the 2021 season.

UP also has earned 10 Frontier Conference Player of the Week awards and one NAIA Player of the Week award so far this season. Junior Bella Thompson has won five conference setter of the week awards and is currently leading the NAIA in assists per set, sophomore Cabry Taylor leads the conference in both blocks and blocks per set after taking home the NAIA Defender of the Week award, and Sadie Giles and Nina Janjic have been named the defender and attacker of the week, respectively.

Athletic Director Doug Hashley stated, "It is amazing to see all their hard work continue to pay off with national recognition. It is a wonderful group of young women, and I am very excited to continue to watch them improve this season."
