HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to a sweep over MSU-Northern, junior Bella Thompson and senior Nina Janjic have earned Frontier Conference Player of the Week awards.

Thompson is a setter from Kapahulu, Oahu and totaled 40 assists to average 13.33 assists per set against the Skylights. Thompson is currently #1 in the NAIA in assists per set and leads the conference in both total assists and assists per set.

This is Thompson's seventh setter of the week award this season and ninth of her career after taking home the award twice her freshman season. Thompson has also tied the single season program record previously set by Cydney Finberg-Roberts' 2021 season where she earned seven setter of the week awards.

Janjic is a right-side hitter from Novi Sad, Serbia and totaled 16 kills for 5.33 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .609 in the Argos sweep over MSU-Northern. Janjic is currently leading the conference in kills per set with 3.71 and is third in total kills with 256.

This is Janjic's fifth Attacker of the Week award this season after being named an Honorable Mention All-American last season. Janjic is now second in program history with the most Attacker of the Weeks in a single season with only Sadie Giles and Kelsey Shaver achieving more with six in 2021 and 2018, respectively.

Head coach Arunas Duda on his athlete's performance stated, "Congrats to our two once again!  This type of recognition only helps our team gain national recognition as we push towards our team goal of making a run to the national tournament."

The Argos will be back in action Oct. 24 when they travel to Billings, Mont. Gametime is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. versus Rocky Mountain College.
