SPOKANE, Wash. -- The University of Providence men's wrestling program competed at the Spokane Open throughout the day Sunday.
Two Argos made it to the championship match on Sunday in sophomores
Pig Hobbs and
Ezra Clemens.
Hobbs went 4-0 on the day pinning both Trace Evans of Eastern Oregon and Diego Cruz of Southern Oregon before defeating Justin Windauer of MSU-Northern 16-4 in the championship match.
Clemens finished 4-1 on the day pinning Brian Lopez of Western Washington, Trevor Wolf of Southern Oregon, and Gage Clother before falling in the championship match to Darrell Nanpuya.
The Argos will be back in action Dec. 6-7 when they host the Battle of the Rockies in Great Falls, Mont.
