SPOKANE, Wash. – The University of Providence women's wrestling program competed at the Spokane Open throughout the day Sunday.

#1 Erin Hikiji and #2 Paige Morales continued their undefeated start of the season going 3-0 and 4-0 on their way to first place finishes on Sunday.

Hikiji defeated the #14 and #15 ranked wrestlers in the NAIA and Morales defeated #15 Nizhoni Tallman 10-0 in the championship for their second titles each this season after they both placed first at the Battle of the Rockies.

The Argos had a couple other wrestlers finish in the top three on Sunday in Isa Bocanegra, Kayla Shota, Isabelle Asuncion, Alyssa Randles, Mackenzie English, Paige Respicio, Kailey Rees, Aspen Dodge, Hailey Sutton, Frances Porteous, and Jasmine Adiniwin.

The Argos will be back in action Dec. 7 when they travel to Crete, Neb. for the Doane Open. Wrestlers will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will compete throughout the day.
