HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to a pair of victories at the Green and Gold Classic, senior Jamil Bowles has been named the Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Bowles is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while adding three steals and two blocks in the Argos overtime victory over Dickinson State. Bowles also added three steals in the Argos win over SAIT.

This is Bowles' first player of the week award this season and the first of his career after leading the Argos in scoring with 16.1 points per game so far this season. Bowles is the third Argo to earn Frontier Conference Player of the Week this season joining seniors Antoine Boyd Jr. and Mike Wright Jr.
 
Head coach JC Isakson on Jamil's performance stated, "Jamil can play all five positions, score in a variety of ways, create shots for teammates, pass, and rebound. We ask a lot of him, and he's delivered which directly impacts winning."
 
Argos will be back in action Jan. 4 for the Frontier Conference Opener versus Carroll College. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Helena, Mont.
