BOZEMAN, Mont. – The University of Providence indoor track and field teams competed at the Bobcat Performance throughout the day Friday.
The Argos had four top three finishers in senior
Allyson Conner, junior
Tatiana Martinez, sophomore
Travis Zavala, and sophomore
Logan Nicholson. Sophomore
Evan Major also ran a 6.97 60m which broke his own record that he set two weeks prior. Â
Connor and Martinez both qualified at A Standard for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships with each of them completing a 16.49m weight throw to tie for second at the Bobcat Performance. Zavala also completed an A Standard throw and placed second in the Shot Put with 15.72m. Â
Logan Nicholson finished in third completing a 1.88m high jump and freshman
Zoran LaFrombois 3000m time of 9:12.21 is second all-time in Argo Athletics history.
The Argos will be back in action Feb. 16 for the Big Sky Tuner in Bozeman, Mont. Athletes will be competing all day at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.
