HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to a pair of 3-1 victories over #13 Montana Western and Rocky Mountain College, junior Sadie Giles has been named the Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Attacker of the Week.  

Giles is a middle blocker from Idaho Falls, Idaho and totaled 55 digs for 6.88 digs per set while also adding 15 kills and six blocks over the two Argo wins. Giles is currently third on the team in kills, second in digs, and third in blocks.

This is Giles first defender of the Week award this season and the first of her career after winning the the Frontier Conference Attacker of the Week nine times throughout her two All-American seasons in 2020 and 2021.  

Head coach Arunas Duda on Giles' performance stated, "We are thrilled for Sadie to finally win a conference player of the week award this year because her contributions have been great and so consistent. Sadie has finished second on our team in almost every category, every game and means so much to what we do on a daily basis. She is definitely a glue piece, and we know we wouldn't be where we are without her efforts."
