GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team hosts MSU Northern on Thursday, Jan. 16 in Great Falls. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Montana Western 67-65. Senior Jamil Bowles led the way for the Argos with 18 points and senior Mike Wright Jr. and senior Nikolajs Atanasovs added 13 and 12, respectively.
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been senior Jamil Bowles who is averaging 16.2 points per game. Bowles is also leading the team in rebounds with 8.4 per game. UP has two others averaging double figure scoring in senior Mike Wright Jr. with 13 and senior Antoine Boyd Jr. with 11. Defensively Boyd Jr. leads the way with 1.8 steals per game and is tied with Bowles for the team high in assists with 2.4 per game.
 
MSU Northern
After losing to Rocky Mountain College in their last matchup, the Lights are now 0-3 in Frontier conference play. The Argos are 6-4 in their last 10 matchups with MSU Northern and swept the season series last year 3-0. The Argos will look to improve their home record to 5-1 on the season while the Lights are aiming to pick up their first win on the road this year.
