HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to a pair of victories over #9 Montana Tech and Rocky Mountain College, senior Jamil Bowles has been named the Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Bowles is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and scored 27 points and grabbed 16 rebounds while adding three steals in the Argos 77-67 victory over #9 Montana Tech. Bowles also added a block versus Rocky Mountain College while shooting 53% from the floor over the weekend.

This is Bowles' second player of the week award this season and the second of his career after leading the Argos in scoring with 15.9 points per game so far this season. Bowles is the third Argo to earn Frontier Conference Player of the Week this season joining seniors Antoine Boyd Jr. and Mike Wright Jr.
 
Head coach J.C. Isakson on his Jamil's performance stated, "With team success comes individual recognition. Two big team wins this past weekend. Jamil can play all five positions, and we ask a lot of him, and he's delivered which directly impacts winning."
 
Argos will be back in action Feb. 13 when they host Carroll College. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Great Falls, Mont.
