GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team hosts Carroll College on Thursday, Feb. 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
Last Time Out
The Argos went 2-0, defeating #9 Montana Tech and Rocky Mountain College to move them into a tie for first place of the Frontier Conference. Senior Jamil Bowles was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Week after his impressive performance of 27 points and 16 rebounds against #9 Montana Tech.
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been senior Jamil Bowles who is averaging 15.9 points per game. Bowles is also leading the team in rebounds with 8.6 per game. UP has two others averaging double figure scoring in senior Antoine Boyd Jr. with 14.3 and senior Mike Wright Jr. with 12.8. Defensively Boyd Jr. leads the way with 1.7 steals per game and is has the team high in assists with 2.6 per game.
Carroll College
The Fighting Saints are 10-14 so far this season and are coming off a 92-82 loss against Montana Western their last time out. The Argos won the most recent meeting on 1/25/25 by a score of 81-74 but the Saints are 6-4 in the last 10 matchups.
