POCATELLO, Idaho. – The University of Providence indoor track and field teams competed at the Stacy Dragila Invitational throughout the day Friday.

The Argos had a few highlights on Friday in freshman Lauren Cima qualifying at B Standard in the Shot Put throwing 13.55m. In Cima's third collegiate meet of her career, she has now qualified for the NAIA National Indoor Championships in Gainesville, Florida on Feb. 27.

UP also had a pair of athletes place second in Kelsey Stensland-Plymale breaking the program record in the 1 mile with a time of 5:16.35, and sophomore Zoran LaFrombois placed second in the 3000M with 9:23.50.

UP had three other athletes place in the top three at the Stacy Dragila Invitational in Ciaran Molloy, Adam Cearley, and Josh Golemon.

Molloy finished third in the 3000M running it in 9:35.57, Cearley placed third in the weight throw with a new personal record of 16.41m, and Golemon placed fifth in the shot put with 15.02m.

The Argos will be back in action Feb. 14-15 for the Mountain State Games. Athletes will be competing throughout the weekend at the ICCU Dome in Pocatello, Idaho.
