EAST HELENA, Mont. – The University of Providence track and field teams competed at Trudnowski Open throughout the day Friday.

The Argos had a few highlights in freshman Lauren Cima qualifying at B standard with a first-place throw of 51.55m. Cima also placed first in the discus and the shot put with distances of 41.95m and 12.71m and is now qualified for the NAIA National  Championships in all three throwing events at B Standard.

UP had four other athletes place first in Kelsey Stensland-Plymale in the 1500M, Josh Golemon in the shot put, Kamohelo Selebeleng in the 200M, Josh Golemon in the hammer throw, and Brooklyn Ludemann in the 100M.

The Argos will be back in action on April 25 when they head to Missoula, Mont. for the Griz Open. Athletes will be competing throughout the day at Dornblaser Field.
