GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence track and field teams competed in the Hammer Throw to open the Frontier Conference Championships Thursday afternoon. Â
Freshman
Lauren Cima was the highlight for the Argos taking first place and winning her first career Conference Championship with a distance of 52.60m.

The Argos also had two others earn all-conference accolades in senior
Tatiana Martinez and junior
Josh Golemon.
Â
Martinez placed second in the hammer throw at 47.56m which was over five meters more than third place. Golemon finished in third with a throw of 51.10.

The Argos will be back in action Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5 when they head to East Helena for the remainder of the Frontier Conference Championships.
