HELENA, Mont. – The University of Providence track and field teams the Frontier Conference Championships throughout the day Monday.
Freshman
Lauren Cima was the highlight for the Argos taking first place in the shot put to finish her first Frontier Conference Championships with two first-place and one second-place finish.
The Argos also had five others earn all-conference accolades in senior
Tatiana Martinez, sophomore
Kelsey Stensland-Plymale, junior
Travis Zavala, freshman
Brooklyn Ludemann, and freshman
Kamohelo Selebeleng.
After placing first in the Discus on Sunday, Martinez wrapped up her Frontier Conference Championships with a second-place finish in the Shot Put at 12.55m. Zavala also placed second in the Shot Put with a throw of 15.87m
Stensland-Plymale, Selebeleng, and Ludemann also earned all-conference honors in their first career Frontier Conference Championships with Stensland-Plymale finishing in second in the 1500M, Selebeleng finished second in the 100M, and Ludemann finished third in both the 100M and 200M.
The Argos will be back in action May 22-24 when they head to Marion, Ind. for the NAIA National Championships.
