GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's wrestling team heads to Ashland, Ore. for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament on Sunday, March 1. Wrestlers will compete throughout the day at Riehm Arena.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos won six weight classes at the Firestorm Open with seniors Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp, Esther Han, sophomore Hailey Sutton, and freshman Elise Twait all placed first while Erin Hikiji and Isa Bocanegra at 103 and Paige Morales and Kayla Shota at 110 met each other in the championship match and double-forfeited.
 
Rankings
The Argos were ranked #3 in the latest NAIA Top 20 poll and have 12 individual wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their respective weight classes in #1 Erin Hikiji (103), #2 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), #3 Paige Morales (110), #4 Elise Twait,  #5 Aspen Dodge (160), #6 Esther Han (138), #7 Alyssa Randles (124), #7 Joely Slyter (117), #11 Hailey Sutton (160), #12 Isa Bocanegra (103), #13 Kassidy Sigda (180), and #16 Kayla Shota (110).
 
CCC Championships
The University of Providence is sending the maximum of 12 wrestlers to compete this weekend in Erin Hikiji (103), Isa Bocanegra (103), Paige Morales (110), Kayla Shota (110), Joely Slyter (117), Alyssa Randles (124), Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), Esther Han (138), Elise Twait (145), Aspen Dodge (160), Hailey Sutton (160), and Kassidy Sigda (180).
 
The Cascade Collegiate Conference received 26 allocations for the NAIA National Tournament. Sunday's matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. (MST).
