WICHITA, Kan. -- The University of Providence men's wrestling program wrapped up their season at the NAIA National Tournament Saturday afternoon.

Following an exciting Friday night where senior Ethan DeRoche and junior Pig Hobbs earned All-American status, both wrestlers competed for placement on Saturday.

Hobbs fell to #2 Fabian Padilla 4-1 in the consolation semifinals but rallied in his final match of the season to defeat #5 Bryce Boumans 18-5 to take fifth place at the NAIA National Tournament.

Following DeRoche's win over #15 Emmett Bivens to earn All-American status on Friday, DeRoche fell to #5 Nico Rodriguez in the seventh-place match to finish in eighth.
