KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released the 2025-2026 softball All-Americans on Tuesday, and the University of Providence had one recipient in junior Tehneson Ehnes who was selected to the second team.

Ehnes was named a second-team All-American after earning first team All-Conference honors earlier this season. Ehnes led the conference in RBIs with 72 and was fifth in the NAIA. Ehnes was also 10th in the conference in batting average at .402, seventh in home runs with eight, first in triples with seven, and second in total bases with 117.

Ehnes was the Frontier Conference Player of the Week three times this season and set the program record for the most RBIs in a single season with 72. Tehneson is the first athlete to earn All-American recognition in program history.

Head coach Joey Egan on Ehnes stated, "Tehneson has put together a season that will forever be remembered in our softball program. Becoming the first player in program history to earn All-American recognition is a testament to her work ethic, competitiveness, and commitment to excellence every single day. This honor reflects not only the player she has become, but the standard she has helped establish for the future of Argo Softball."
