Argo Soccer Adds Offensive Prowess with McKenzie

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo Soccer adds a playmaker and offensive weapon in Livingston, Montana and Park High School student-athlete Colin McKenzie to the Argos 2019 roster, announced by head coach Matt Ball.

McKenzie was a four-year member of the Rangers soccer team. He was a member of the Region 4 Olympic Development Program (ODP) Championship team in 2016, in addition to a Montana Class A All-State selection during the Rangers 2018 campaign.

During his senior season, McKenzie netted 16 goals and five assists during their eight game season. As a member of the Bozeman Blitzz, he scored 41 goals over two years with the program.

McKenzie is not only a threat on the pitch but in the classroom as well. He was a four-time Academic All-State honor recipient, while also being a member of the National Honor Society.

"I chose the University of Providence because of its family feel you get all around campus," expressed McKenzie. "The coaches, players, and university staff all have a very good connection and welcome you like family. I want to be a part of that family."

"We're really happy to have Colin join our program. It's great to be able to pick up another talent from the state of Montana, which we always look to do when possible," explained Coach Ball. "Colin has the potential to be a dynamic attacking player for us once he gets through that initial transition period into the college game, which for an athlete of his caliber, shouldn't take long," said Ball. "He knows where the goal is and that's an area we are looking to improve in 2019. He's also a very good student and will help us continue our successful work in the classroom."
