BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Argos opened the indoor track and field season on Friday as they competed in the Montana State University Open.
On the men's side,
Zebadiah Boos competed in the men's weight throw, in addition to the men's shot put. In the weight throw, Boos threw for 13.29 meters to place seventh. While in the shot put, Boos claimed a distance of 12.49 meters, finishing 11th.
On the women's side,
Jillian Sanchez,
Kristen Nash, and
Kaylee Beer competed in the weight throw and shot put as well. Sanchez paced the Argos in the weight throw with a distance of 13.25 meters, claiming tenth. Nash was the Argos second finisher as she claimed a 14
th-place finish with a distance of 11.12 meters, while Beer finished right behind her in 15
th with a 10.90-meter throw. Sanchez led the Argos in the shot put with a throw of 10.76 meters, while teammates Beer and Nash claimed a 13th- and 14th-place finish with distances of 9.34 and 9.23 meters, respectively.
