Great Falls, Mont. - Coming off a huge victory to Montana Tech, the University of Providence volleyball team was ranked #18 by the NAIA Coaches Poll on Wednesday.
The Argos (5-2, 17-5) are tied with the Orediggers (4-2, 19-6) in the poll. They both trail Rocky Mountain (6-0, 16-8), who is ranked #16.
"We've had a very similar season to Montana Tech," head coach
Arunas Duda said. "We've split with them in the regular season as we both won on the road in four. Being tied at 18 makes a lot of sense. We moved up two spots which was great. I think we're in the right spot. I think we have the opportunity to continue to climb in the next few weeks if we can take care of business here at home."
That climb begins on Saturday during the White Out Game, when the Argos take on Lewis and Clark State (4-2, 16-8) at 2 p.m. in Great Falls.Â
