WHITEFISH, Mont. –
Shana Cosby was named Frontier Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.
The honor marks the second honor in 2019 and fifth since the 2018 season for Cosby.
Cosby had a stellar weekend at the University of Montana Open. She dominated the javelin throw as she won the event with an impressive 40.15-meter (131'-09") toss, which outdistanced second-place by over 15 feet and met the NAIA B-qualifying standard. This marked Cosby's second performance to meet the NAIA qualifying standard this season.
