GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo men's basketball adds more veteran talent with another transfer in sophomore Stephen Adeyemi, announced by head coach Steve Keller on Friday.

Stephen Adeyemi, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, comes to the Argos after playing his freshman season at Pierce College. Adeyemi graduated from Sunrise Mountain High School. As a Miner, Adeyemi earned All-State Honorable Mention honors, while also being named All-Conference his junior and senior seasons. He surpassed the 1,000 career points mark during his four years at Sunrise Mountain. As a senior, Adeyemi averaged 18 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals for the Miners. In the classroom, Adeyemi graduated with a 3.0 GPA and graduated in the top half of his class.

"Stephen is an athletic guard who can defend and rebound," stated coach Keller. "We look forward to helping him continue to develop at Providence."
