GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo track and field announces the addition of thrower Jaelynn Adams, announced by head coach
Bill Brist on Monday.
"Jaelynn Adams takes her throwing very seriously as I have witnessed first-hand while coaching at the Iron Wood Throws Camp where she was a participant," expressed assistant throws coach
Alan Cress.
Adams, from Toppenish, Washington, was a tri-sport student-athlete at Toppenish High School, competing in track and field, volleyball, and basketball. She was a four-year letterwinner in track and field, while also competing at the varsity level for a year in volleyball and basketball. Adams was also an honor roll student at Toppenish.
She will study exercise science while attending the University of Providence.
"I am excited for her to learn the weight and hammer throws and to mentor her continued progression in the discus throw while here at the University of Providence," stated coach Cress.
