"When I told her she was going to Nationals, she wasn't sure what the mark was," throws coach

On the men's shot put, Austin Forson placed 5

"It's kind of wild that they both got the exact same mark," Cress said. "They now both hold the record for best throw at UP."
In the women's weight throw, Sanchez's Championship-qualifying-throw was good for 4
th place.
Kaylee Beer set a new personal record with a 14.15 meter throw, good for 9

Overall, Cress was pleased with how the team competed in the final meet of the season.
"It went like I hoped it was going to happen," he said. "Everyone went out and got their personal record in at least one event, and some got two. Jillian was the highlight, not only qualifying for Nationals but getting a personal record in both weight throw and shot put."
