KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Providence men's basketball team moved up one spot to #10 in the latest
NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. They had spent the previous month at the #11 spot.
The Argos (23-5, 11-5) are on a three-game winning streak and have won five of their last six. They have gone 3-1 since the last poll came out.
"It's about where I thought we'd be," head coach
Steve Keller said. "We've held solid for a couple polls. Hopefully we can get a few more wins. I'm just proud of our guys. We've been battling. We went through a slump and we got out of that a little bit."
Lewis-Clark State (25-3, 13-3) is the highest ranked team in the Frontier Conference at #7. Carroll College (20-8, 11-5), who host the Argos on Thursday, came in at #17. Montana State-Northern, who the Argos will face on Saturday for senior night, received votes but did not end up in the Top 25.
