BOZEMAN, Mont. – The University of Providence track and field team had another solid showing at the Montana State Indoor Open on Friday. Four Argos placed in the Top 5 with two more getting 6
th place finishes.
Jillian Sanchez placed third in the women's weight throw with a mark of 14.98 meters.
Allyson Conner finished 6
th with 14.0 meters. In shotput, Sanchez finished 5
th place with a mark of 11.14 meters.
On the men's side, Austin Forson, Rico Pryor and Zebadiah Boos placed 3
rd, 4
th and 5
th respectively in the men's weight throw. Forson received a mark of 15.09 meters, Pryor recorded 14.28 meters and Boos got 14.02 meters.
"This meet went really well," assistant coach
Alan Cress said. "Everyone was solid and did reasonably well against good competition. We're definitely on the right path. No one took backwards steps. We're still looking positive heading down the season."
