GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team remained at the #10 ranking in the final
NAIA National Poll of the season. This is the third straight ranking where the Argos are ranked #10.
"I'm happy with our ranking," head coach
Steve Keller said. "Most of the teams above us didn't lose. It is what it is."
Though the Argos haven't moved up in the polls, Keller is confident the team can compete with any team in the country.
"I think we're capable of playing with anybody," he said. "I've watched some of the teams that are above us. Obviously they have a lot of talent. I think we deserve to be in the Top 10. We would love to have the opportunity to be able to play some of them above us if we get that chance."
The Argos will enter into the
Frontier Conference Playoffs this weekend, receiving a bye in the first-round. They'll host their semifinal game on Saturday at 7 p.m. No matter how the National Team goes, the Argos are likely a lock for the NAIA National Tournament.
