GREAT FALLS, Mont. –
Levi Anderson and
Tristan Lewis of the University of Providence hockey team were announced as members of the ACHA Division II West All-Region teams.
Anderson and Lewis were both
named to the West All-Region third team. The ACHA names six players to a first team, second team and third team. The University of Mary led the region with four players selected amongst the three teams.
Anderson, a senior from Pincher Creek, Alberta, was a steady force for the Argos this season, producing a total of 14 assists and scoring six goals for the Argos. He was the second leading point scorer for the team with 20 points on the year. The award is another career milestone for Anderson, who
is the first and only ACHA All-American in program history.
Lewis, a sophomore from Port Elgin, Ontario, was a stout defender in the net for the squad, recording a total of 301 saves in nine games this season, finishing with a saving percentage of .929. He recorded a shutout
in the first game of the season against the Montana Grizzlies.
