GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's hockey program visits the University of Montana on Nov. 10 and Nov. 11. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at Glacier Ice Rink in Missoula, Mont.
Head coach Christian Vivian on this weekend's matchups stated, "The University of Montana is a team that our veterans are very familiar with, and our freshman are going to be familiar with by the end of the year. This will be the first two of our four meetings with them throughout the year. They are another tough Mountain West opponent, and it is a big set of games for us for the rankings."
Argos
The Argos are 4-3 so far this season and are coming off a 4-0 loss to Montana State University their last time out. Prior to their loss versus the Bobcats, UP was 4-1 in their previous five games defeating Utah Valley University, Boise State University, and Weber State University.
Season Leaders
Freshman
Adam Husli is the goal leader after scoring eight so far this season. Husli also has the second most points on the team with 12. Senior
Jakob Stevenson is second on the team in goals with five and has the most points on the team with 15. Freshman
Chris Fines is the save leader for the Argos, tallying 181 in four games so far this season.
University of Montana
The Grizzlies are 7-8 so far this season and are coming off a 4-2 loss versus Weber State their last time out. The Argos have defeated the University of Montana in five of the last six meetings, outscoring them 33-11.
