GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence softball program heads to East Helena, Mont. for the Cascade Collegiate Conference opener against Corban University. Games are scheduled on Feb. 29 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and on March 1 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at East Helena High School. 

Season Leaders
Senior Gracie Fleming is the Argos leading hitter thus far batting .462 with three stolen bases through five games. Junior Sydnee Weber has been the biggest run producer for UP driving in six runs so far this season and senior Deven Creech has been the anchor on the mound totaling 14 innings with an ERA of 3.00 and a WHIP of 1.36.

Corban University
The Argos have won four of the last five meetings with the Warriors including back-to-back victories last April in Great Falls.  Corban University is 1-9 so far this season and are coming off a 4-0 loss to Pacific University their last time out.
