Argos Travel to Utah for MWCHL Tournament

GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's hockey program travels to Logan, Utah for the Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League tournament this weekend. The Argos will play their first game against Utah Valley University at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the George S. Eccles Ice Center.    

Last Time Out
The Argos fell to #1 Montana State University in their regular season finale. Freshman AJ Belanger and senior Ty Alger both scored in the loss.   

Season Leaders
Freshman Adam Husli is the goal leader after scoring 13 so far this season. Husli also has the third most points on the team with 22. Senior Jakob Stevenson is second on the team in goals with 12 and has the most points on the team with 30. Freshman Chris Fines is the save leader for the Argos, tallying 455 in 13 games while giving up 3.0 goals per game so far this season.

Utah Valley
The Argos are 2-0 versus Utah Valley so far this season defeating the Wolverines 10-2 in Boise, Idaho and defeating them 7-1 in Great Falls.  

How to Watch
Puck drop is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8 at George S. Eccles Ice Center.
