HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to a 4-0 weekend at the Big Sky Challenge, junior Bella Thompson has been named the Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Setter of the Week.  

Thompson is a setter from Kapahulu, Oahu and totaled 159 assists to average 10.60 assists per set over the Argos four wins. Thompson is currently top five in the NAIA in both assists and assists per set while also recording 48 digs for 3.20 per set over the weekend. Thompson is currently #6 in program history in career assists and had the 11th most assists in a single match with 56 in the Argos five-set victory over Our Lady of the Lake.

Thompson is the first Argo to take home a conference player of the week award this season and the first since 10/30/2023. This is the third time in her career that Thompson has been named the Frontier Conference Setter of the Week after winning the honor twice her freshman season.

Head coach Arunas Duda on Thompson's performance stated, "I am so proud of Bella. She came in this season ready to go and has really stepped up as a leader on and off the court. She truly has the right mentality to be a great setter and will continue to turn heads this season."
