GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's volleyball team heads to the Big Sky Challenge in Butte, Mont. on Aug. 21-22. UP will face #23 LC State and IU South Bend on Friday prior to playing Ottawa University and Northwest University on Saturday.
Last Time Out
The Argos went 3-0 at the Paradise Volleyball Classic defeating #12 Oklahoma Wesleyan 3-0, Indiana Tech 3-1, and Doane University 3-0. Senior
Cabry Badley was named the MVP of the tournament and freshman
Brooklyn Hillman was named to the All-Tournament team.
Stat Leaders
The Argos lead attacker so far this season has been senior
Cabry Badley who is averaging 3.2 kills per set and is hitting .443. Sophomore
Araleigh Arnold and junior
Marli Lopeman have led the way in assists with 55 and 31, respectively. Defensively, senior Cabry Taylor is currently first in the NAIA in blocks per set with 1.9 while Saiers is averaging 2.78 digs per set.
Indiana University South Bend
The Titans started their season at the Forester Invite where they went 2-2 defeating Huntington and Wilberforce but fell to Saint Mary of the Woods College and IU Columbus. This will be the first meeting in program history between Providence and IU South Bend.

#23 LC State
The Warriors were ranked #23 in the Preseason NAIA Coaches Poll after advancing to the Final Site of the NAIA National Tournament in 2025. The Big Sky Challenge is the first event of the season for LC State and the Argos are 8-2 in their last 10 matchups versus the Warriors falling in the most recent meeting 3-0 in 2019 in Great Falls.

The Big Sky Challenge is the first event of the season for the Spirit and the Argos are 2-0 in their history versus Ottawa taking the most recent matchup 3-1 in 2024 in Great Falls.

Northwest University
The Big Sky Challenge is the first event of the season for the Eagles and the Argos are 2-3 in their history versus Northwest taking the most recent matchup 3-1 last season in the first round of the NAIA National Tournament.Â
