HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to a 3-0 victory over Carroll College, junior Bella Thompson has been named the Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Setter of the Week.  

Thompson is a setter from Kapahulu, Oahu and totaled 38 assists to average 12.67 assists per set over the weekend. Thompson is currently #1 in the NAIA in assists per set and leads the conference in both total assists and assists per set.   

This is Thompson's fourth straight setter of the week award this season after taking home the award the first three weeks of the season. This is the sixth time in her career that Thompson has been named the Frontier Conference Setter of the Week after winning the honor twice in her freshman season. This is also the first time in program history the Argos have won four consecutive Setter of the Week awards beating Cydney-Finberg-Roberts' streak in 2021.  

Head coach Arunas Duda on Thompson's performance stated, "Watching her progression has been really fun.  She comes into the gym every day ready to get better at something else and holds herself and her teammates to such a high standard.  Bella continues to get better and better and bails us out of a lot of tough situations with her athleticism and court IQ.  So proud of her!!!"
