GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence hockey program defeated Williston State 7-3 Friday night.

The Argos (20-8) scored the first goal of the game when Chavez Constant found William Osika whose wrist shot from the point hit the back of the net to put UP in front 1-0.

Williston State would answer to tie the game at one to open the second period, but the Argos answered with three goals in 32 seconds from Tobias Robinson, Jonathan O'Brien, and William Clark to retake the lead 4-1.

The Tetons added a second goal at the end of the second as UP went into the final period leading 4-2.

Five minutes into the third period, O'Brien's cross crease pass found Robinson whose one-timer beat the goaltender for his second goal of the night to put UP ahead by three.

Despite the Tetons cutting the lead to two with 13 minutes left, Colby Friedrich and Fabian Vik each added goals down the stretch as UP cruised to a 7-3 victory over Williston State.

The Argos will be back in action tomorrow, Feb. 1 when they host Williston State College for the regular season finale. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Great Falls, Mont.
